PTG Energy PCL (PTG) continues to expand its Non-Oil business network with the launch of “PT GIGA EV” – the first pilot station without fuel dispensers, located in the high-potential Lat Phrao–Wang Hin area. This new-format station is designed to serve electric vehicle (EV) users and enhance the full-service experience through key offerings such as EleX by EGAT PT, PunThai Coffee, Subway, and Autobacs. The initiative reinforces PTG’s vision of “Well-being and Contentedness” by developing an integrated ecosystem that connects all lifestyles through PT Max Card, Max Card Plus, and Max Card Plus EV. The launch event was honored by Mr. Thepparat Theppitak, Governor of the Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand (EGAT), who presided over the opening ceremony.

Mr. Pitak Ratchakitprakarn, President and Chief Executive Officer of PTG Energy PCL (PTG), stated that although Thailand’s EV industry is still in its early stages, consumer response has been steadily increasing. This trend aligns with the government’s and private sector’s policies, as well as growing environmental awareness. In response, PTG is proactively developing the necessary infrastructure and services—beginning with the launch of the new-format service station, “PT GIGA EV,” which is expected to become a key connecting point within the future EV ecosystem.

“PT GIGA EV” service stations are designed to be compact, space-efficient, and easily accessible, with a focus on delivering full-service solutions that cater to every aspect of EV users’ lifestyles. These services are seamlessly integrated with PT Max Card and Max Card Plus membership programs, offering a tangible connection to PTG’s broader ecosystem. More importantly, this marks a significant opportunity to expand the Non-Oil business portfolio—transforming the station from a traditional service point into a lifestyle hub for EV users, aligned with evolving market dynamics and changing consumer behaviors.

Mr. Rangsun Puangprang, Executive Vice President, PTG Energy PCL, stated that the first PT GIGA EV service station is located on Lat Phrao-Wang Hin Road – a potential location with a rapid growth rate of urban community and a continuously increasing demand for charging stations. The surrounding areas are inhabited by accommodation such as villages and condominiums. The investment capital is approximately 40 MB for the construction of a pilot service station with no fuel station. The service will be available 24 hours.

“PT GIGA EV” features 5 EleX by EGAT PT charging cabinets equipped with 10 charging connectors, offering a maximum charging capacity of 180 kW. The station is designed to support diverse lifestyles through PTG’s Non-Oil businesses, including PunThai Coffee, Subway restaurant, and the Autobacs automobile maintenance and repair center—all conveniently located within the station.

This setup provides a seamless experience for charging, relaxation, and vehicle servicing in one place, reflecting PTG’s customer-centric strategy for both internal combustion engine (ICE) and EV users.

In this regard, the Company has launched the campaign to promote the use of clean energy with a special promotion “Charging for 1 Baht per Unit” from the normal rate of 7.5 Baht per unit for a 1-month period, from July 25 – August 24, 2025.
